The Greatest Mental Health Consultancy on the planet

The Chipmunkapublishing Consultancy Department enables service users (i.e. people who have experienced "mental illness") and people who work in mental health and mental health related services to work in harmony. We believe that that service users are experts by experience and should have the opportunities to express their views in a variety of ways and be paid for their contributions in the same way that professional consultants are for their services. We are also developing a strong consultancy base to promote professionals.

Not only do service users have a unique insight into what they have experiences but the traumatic confrontation of reliving their experiences means they should be paid a professional rate and not manipulated by other organisations as they constantly are. We realise the importance of working with professional organisations that work with mental health and believe the way to breakdown the taboo of mental health in society is to work with Government and Health Groups to encourage and empower the service user. The steps we are taking are the beginning of a long fight for Equality and what we call the birth of the professional service user.

The Team
Our Consultancy network consists of Chipmunkapublishing authors whose pay we negotiate for their services. We are seeking invitations for our authors from professional bodies. Fees range from £200 - £5000 for the consultant of which Chipmunkapublishing will take a commission for services negotiated or consultancy work found. This will depend on what we can negotiate for you and will range from 20%-50%. If you work with us and trust us you will soon find that you are the one who benefits and remember all our profits are driven back in to serve the community and normalise mental health.

What do our consultants do?

Our consultants write freelance articles for newspapers, magazines, books, do public speaking engagements about all kinds of mental health related issues, appear in videos and also include trainers, comedians, musicians and film makers.

Consultancy Applications

To be a Chipmunkapublishing consultant you can be a service user, carer or professional wanting to improve mental health services and raise awareness. You must be able to promote yourself and have the skills necessary to provide a top level service.
